The Water Theatre by Lindsay Clarke longlisted for the 2012 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award

Fiction Uncovered is delighted to announce that one of its 2011 titles, The Water Theatre by Lindsay Clarke, has been longlisted for the €100,000 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award for 2012, the world’s most valuable annual literary prize for a single work of fiction published in English. Libraries from 122 cities and 45 countries nominated books for the award. London’s Public Libraries nominated The Water Theatre, calling it, “Beautifully written with the skill of a master writer. A great tale that tackles some of the most important themes of human existence.” The Water Theatre is published by Alma Books. The shortlist will be made public on 12th April 2012 and the Lord Mayor of Dublin will announce the winner on 13th June.
