The Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize is supported by retailers and other literary organisation activity. In-store and online promotions run alongside the Fiction Uncovered PR and marketing campaign and website activity, and reading groups and libraries across the UK get on board. Activity in 2014 includes:

In 2014 we have been working with The Word Factory, an organisation specialising in events and masterclasses for short story writers, to raise the number of short story collection submissions. The Word Factory’s salon on 26 July at Waterstones Piccadilly will also host the Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize winners (more information coming soon).
The Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize works with NetGalley, where international book reviewers, bloggers, librarians, booksellers and other professional readers can request digital access to a selection of the 2014 titles.
For the first time, self-published writers will be able to submit entries. Working with the Alliance of Independent Authors, Fiction Uncovered has revised the submissions process to include self-published works.
